How it works

This device receives a 24 V signal (AC or DC) from a controller or timer
directly operates the valve (if built in), or drives a remote
diaphragm-type solenoid valve connected below it.
It acts as the electromagnetic actuator that converts and energizes the
internal solenoid coil, which either:
electric energy into mechanical movement (open/close)

Connection to a Solenoid Valve

If you are connecting this to a separate valve body, the usual method is:
Mount the actuator on the valve body:
Most units fit onto pilot-operated diaphragm valves

(e.g. ¾″, 1″, 1½″ irrigation solenoid valves) with a compatible plunger assembly.
Electrical connection:
Connect two wires from the actuator to your 24 V controller output terminals

(either polarity works for AC/DC type).
One wire goes to the common (C) terminal of the controller.
The other goes to the zone output terminal that controls that valve.
Water flow direction :
Ensure the valve body’s arrow points in the direction of flow.

Suitable Types of Solenoid Valves:

This actuator is suitable for pilot-operated 24 V irrigation solenoid valves, such as:
Hunter, Rain Bird, Irritrol, Netafim, Jain, or Toro type valves
With coil specifications: 24 V AC or DC, current draw around 50–100 mA
Specifically compatible valve models include:
Hunter PGV, Rain Bird DV, Jain JSV, etc.
2-way normally closed diaphragm valves

Important Notes
Do not connect directly to 230 V AC mains — it will destroy the coil.
Use only with 24 V AC/DC controllers (like irrigation timers).
If using DC power, observe the correct voltage (12 V DC will not fully operate it).
Check waterproof sealing (IP68) if installed outdoors.

Works only on DC power, not AC.
It is a latching (bi-stable) solenoid

It opens or closes with a short electrical pulse and stays in that position without continuous power.
Requires positive pulse to open, a reverse polarity pulse to close (for some models).
Used with battery-powered or solar irrigation controllers.
 Typical applications: remote irrigation systems, low-power solar setups,

where constant current draw is undesirable.
