Warranty and Repair


ON REPAIR- GREENAGE WATER TIMERS
Not like digital, Greenage Analogue type water timers are repairable to certain extend. These water timers are originally warranted for one year from the date of our invoice. During warranty period, a defective product will either be repaired or replaced  totally free of cost. 

REPAIR AFTER THE EXPIRY OF WARRANTY   
We also undertake repair of a defective GreenAge water timer even after its warranty period of one year but only if the customer comply and agree with the following terms and conditions: 

1).Customer fully understand and agrees that Vikon exports do not assure that all defective water timers are  repairable but only promise its best attempt for a repair  2). Date of purchase should not exceed a maximum 3 years and a proof is required for this 3). Customer who had given a five or four star rating for our product will  only be eligible for special rates for the repair-A snap shot  showing star rating and your order number is required. 4). Repairs after the expiry period is chargeable but the amount paid will be refunded if the repair is not successful. Including 18℅GST, cost of spares and re-shipping, we charge Rs. 590/- for each GreenAge single outlet water timer and Rs.944/-for the double outlet model.This repairing charges will be double  for a customer who had not given a five or four star rating. 5). It takes a maximum 7 days for any repair /refund or replacement after receiving a defective product at our facility 6). A repaired product is warranted for another 90 days from the date of our invoice and in case a repaired machine becomes defective during this warranty period, customer can either request for a second repair free of cost or a full refund including GST paid but only after returning the defective product back to us for inspection.7). In case  a water timer send for repair found not repairable, customer will have the following options A) Request to return the product and refund Rs. 490/- (Rs.100/- will be deducted towards return shipping charges) B) Buy a new GreenAge water timer at 30℅ discount on its current selling price (MRP) after adjusting the amount already paid for the repair. 8) If the payment for repair is not received in our account within 7 days, the product given for repair will be disposed as E waste and Vikon exports will not be responsible to answer on this 9). Vikon exports reserves the right to accept or reject a defective  product for repair 10).In case of legal issues, our jurisdiction will be Kozhikode, Kerala, India.

If you ship the defective without a Repair code, our liability will be limited to keeping the defective product for 7 days before disposing  9). Please also be informed that Vikon exports reserves the right to send you an already repaired product  with the same warranty conditions instead of the one we received from you. This is intended to save your time and save the life of plants.

RS. 800/- FOR DOUBLE OUTLET PLUS 18% GST-TOTAL Rs.944/-
FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT FULFILL ITEM 3 ABOVE
RS 1180/- FOR SINGLE OUTLET AND RS. 1888/- FOR DOUBLE OUTLET 
(INCLUDING 18% GST)

IF A MACHINE FOUND NOT REPAIRABLE, CUSTOMER CAN REQUEST TO RETURN 
THE PRODUCT AND REFUND HIS FULL PAYMENT AFTER DEDUCTING RS.100/- 
TOWARDS RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES.
DO NOT REMOVE/CHANGE THE WARRANTY STICKER PASTED ON ITS BATTERY CHAMBER

WE OFFER 90 DAYS WARRANTY FOR ANY REPAIR
IF THE MACHINE FAILS DURING THIS 90 DAYS WARRANTY PERIOD,
CUSTOMER HAS TO DO THE FOLLOWING IMMEDIATELY
1-NOTIFY THE ISSUE  WITH HIS REPAIR CODE 
2-RETURN THE PRODUCT FOR A FREE REPAIR
3-RETURN THE PRODUCT FOR A FULL REFUND 

CUSTOMER ALSO WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS
RETURN THE DEFECTIVE AND BUY A NEW PRODUCT AT 30% DISCOUNT
