CAUTION: DO NOT OVER TIGHT ANY THREADED PART
Once you set up the frequency and run time, you have to wait until that frequency
time to see the timer functioning for the first time.
For example, if you set it up for one hour frequency with 5 minutes run time,
then you have to wait till the next one hour to see the timer working. Whenever you
change the settings, keep the frequency knob at the RESET red colored point and Run
time at the ON point .When the machine makes a motor sound,
If you hear a motor sound again, that means your settings are saved.
When the battery is replaced, you have to make new settings.
Use new Duracell AAA 1.5V batteries for better performance .
Batteries normally lasts for three months if the operation is twice a day
rotate and keep the knobs at your desired settings.

SPECIAL TIME DELAY FUNCTION
GreenAge water tap timer is also equipped with a special time delay function that helps you avoid watering of plants during specific hours. You can delay the watering start time by using the time delay feature. You can delay watering in one hour intervals up to a maximum of 12 hours. To delay watering for three hours, depress the time delay button three times Suppose if you dont want to water your plants from 8.00 PM till next daymorning 6.00 AM, depress the time delay button 10 times after the timer serves water at 8 PM.

Works perfect... It has a huge range of interval settings.. all the way from 1 hr to 72 hours and then to 1 week. Then the operation can be set from 1 min to 120 mins... it works perfect for what I bought it for .Though others have placed it outside, I had an option of placing it indoors. As I live in an apartment.. watering my plants is a hassle .this works like a charm .Be practical...you always don't get time to water your plants...but the plants need watering.

I installed this in my terrace garden 2 days back and its working fine as of now. I given 4 rating why because i dont know the full pros & cons of the product and its hardly 2 days. But 4 rating why i given is, because the product quality is very good and very simple to install. I use it for drip irrigation to my terrace garden and because its peak summer i set the frequency for every 6 hrs and 5 mins. I will keep on update the performance of this device

I am writing this review after 2 years of using this product. I purchased the first Greenage Water Timer based on the recommendation from one of my friends. After three months of usage I purchased two more timers and right now these timers are helping me to water my garden and kitchen garden in a very good way. I am very happy with this product and I would recommend this product to anyone who would like to automate a drip irrigation system. One of my timer valve is connected to a drip irrigation line having more than 75 drip points. Most of my drippers are 4L/hr and I also have some 10L/hr drippers as well in this line. Like this I have two more drip irrigation zone and each zone is controlled through one of the Greenage water timer. I have used one feeder water tank which is nearly 22 ft above ground level. There is one feeder pipe which is then sub divided in to three lines having ball valves in each line. Below the ball valve I have connected Greenage Water timer through an inline water filter. Each of the timer valve is connected to one of the three drip irrigation zone. I have programmed the valve in such a way that at a particular time only one vale is open for irrigation. This will make sure that I have good water pressure in my drip irrigation zone. During summer I have set the timer to open four times in 24 hours for a 5 minute opening time. With this program the battery will last for more than 6 to 8 months. I have kept the valve in an area which is exposed to direct sunlight. Just to protect the valve, I have rapped a thin sheet of aluminum foil over the valve casing, now after two years also the valve is looking almost brand new!. This valve is pretty easy to program and even my eight year old can make changes to the program. For the first time it’s good to read the hand-out given by the supplier. Thank you Greenage for making this product available. It really helped us to manage our kitchen and home garden in a very good way. A good value for money product.
